Development
The initial challenge our customer was facing is the need to increase connector electrical performance while maintaining the same dimensional space and pin count from the previous model. With this in mind, we came up with the conclusion of designing specific pins for signal and power. Thus increasing the size and pitch for power pins and decreasing the size and pitch for signal pins. This connector also features inside SMT mount with a total mating height of only 1.50mm.
