Connector Type
The Connector TF0801 series presents a 0.80mm pitch insulation displacement connector (IDC). This fine pitch connector saves PCB space due to its compact design and low profile. This IDC is available in two versions, with ear and without ear. The addition of the ear feature makes this receptacle more user-friendly. Plating for contact is available in tin and gold-flash plating. The IDC pairs with a SMT type header that is available in right angle and vertical entry. Circuit sizes available from 02-24 pin and is applicable for wires AWG#32 - 36.
The Connector TF0810 series presents a 0.80mm pitch insulation displacement connector (IDC). With the purpose of saving board space, TYU developed this connector as a top entry type IDC. This is available in 02 circuits with phosphor bronze material and gold plating with wire AWG#32. This is paired with a vertical SMT type header. The total mating height is 1.0mm, presenting as one of the smallest power connectors. Due to its compact size, this connector series is often used in small consumer appliances, such as earphones.
The Connector TF0812 series presents a 0.80mm pitch side entry type insulation displacement connector (IDC). Featuring a compact design and low profile, there are two mating heights available, the standard being 0.9mm height. In this series, the terminal is phosphor bronze material with gold plating. The paired header is a right angle SMT type connector with select circuit sizes available between 02 - 10 pin. Due to its compact size, this connector series has been widely used in small consumer appliances, such as AVR / VR and earphones.
The Connector TU0805 series is a 0.80mm pitch crimp type connector, which mates with the header from TF0801 series. This series offers a crimp type receptacle alternative to the IDC in TF0801. The crimp type option is beneficial when it comes to application in small consumer products. With the use of discrete wire instead of ribbon cable, the wire is able to bend and flex into small spaces. The material used for the contact here is phosphor bronze, with an applicable wire range from AWG#28 to AWG#32.
The Connector TU0803 series is a 0.80mm pitch side entry type wire to board connector. This is a crimp type dual row connector, currently mostly used for signal connections. It features compact design with metal shielding, applicable wires range AWG#32 - #36.
The Connector TU0852 series is a 0.80mm pitch side entry type wire to board connector. This is a crimp type single row connector with pin range from 02 to 20 and a total mating height and length of 1.8mm and 4.2mm respectively. The material used for the terminals is high current copper alloy which can withstand up to 2.5A per pin using AWG#28 wires.
